Owning a beagle in Ohio

• Dog license. Ohio requires dogs older than three months to be registered with the county auditor each year. Your puppy's microchip doesn't replace it.
• Vaccinations. Ohio requires rabies vaccination for dogs; your vet will give it once your puppy is old enough. Their health record shows what they've had so far.
• Weather. Beagles cope well with Ohio winters with a dry, warm place to sleep, and they need shade and water in summer.
• Fenced yards. A beagle's nose can lead them a long way. A secure fence and a leash in unfenced places keep them safe.

How buying from us works

   Choose your puppy and send an inquiry

   Every puppy’s page has a short inquiry form. Tell us where you live and a little about your home. No payment at this stage.

   Talk to us and meet your puppy on video

   We reply the same day by phone, text or email, answer your questions and set up a live video call so you can see your puppy and ask anything.

   Reserve with a 50% deposit

   Pay the deposit by PayPal, Zelle, Bank transfer, Chime or Apple Pay. You get a written receipt and sales agreement, and your puppy is marked Reserved on our site.

4. 4

   We plan your delivery

   You choose Standard (2–5 days) or Express (within 24 hours) delivery, and we agree the departure date with you. The delivery fee is in your written agreement.

   Delivery day

   Your puppy arrives with their health record, microchip details, starter food and papers. The remaining 50% and the delivery fee are due at delivery.

Yes, to every state: Standard delivery (2–5 days from departure, $55) or Express delivery (within 24 hours of departure, $100).
